About Me

Hi there!

I am a Christian who is studying Bio-medical Sciences in Belgium. I am originally from Zambia but also adopted Belgian. In short, I love reading (mostly during the summer due to the heavy study load), tea,traveling and shoes. I also like meeting new people. I have a passion for languages and am fluent in 3: English, Bemba and Dutch and I am currently learning German.

I thought of writing about my experiences especially as a Christian and through my writing to touch, reach and change people's lives everywhere.

I called this blog 'Adventures in Being Foreign' for two reasons:
- My family moved from Zambia in 2003, and I have been on the move since: I have had the privilege to be a foreigner in many beautiful countries and my experiences have exciting hence the word adventure

- The Bible mentions that believers "are not of this world" but are instead citizens of heaven, God's special possession (John 15:18-19;  Philippians 3:20; Hebrews 11: 13-16; 1Peter 2:9).

 I hope you can enjoy and laugh and cry with me as we embark on these adventures.
